120W 12V dual battery solar kit for camper, boat, yacht with controller and cable

120W Solar Panel: This waterproof 120W 12V monocrystalline solar panel is highly efficient and ideal for long-term outdoor use, supplying free electricity for charging 12V batteries to power various applications. It is suitable for use in camper vans, motorhomes, boats, sheds, farms, as well as remote applications like telecommunications or monitoring equipment. Additionally, it can provide a direct power supply for applications that are not sensitive to changes in input voltage/current, such as electric motors or pumps.

The solar panel comes with 5m of special solar cable that can handle high roof temperatures with minimal power losses. It is also equipped with male/female MC4 connectors for easy connection to other solar panels, extension leads, or your existing system. The panel features long-lasting, high-efficiency monocrystalline solar cells and a durable, sealed aluminum frame for consistent, free power over many years. Its waterproof design allows for use in all weather conditions. The panel also includes innovative 5 busbar solar cells, which are more efficient than the 2, 3, or 4 busbar solar cells found in most other solar panels, allowing for more power extraction from the same surface area. 

The kit includes a 10A 12V/24V dual battery solar charge controller that can charge and protect two batteries independently. It is designed with automatic cut-off to prevent overcharging and uses PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) technology to increase charge acceptance and prolong battery life. The controller can recover some lost battery capacity and comes with various protective functions such as stopping reverse current at night, overcharge protection, short circuit protection, reverse polarity protection, and more. Additionally, it features LED indicators, battery type selection, and an RJ-45 socket for an optional remote LCD meter with 10m cable. It also has a built-in temperature sensor for optimizing the charging process based on the ambient temperature. If the controller and the battery are exposed to different temperatures, an external remote temperature sensor with a 3m cable is recommended.

Please note that due to our warehouse arrangements, the solar charge controller may be shipped separately from the solar panel. This product is covered by a 1-year warranty provided by Photonic Universe, which includes a 1-year warranty for the solar charge controller and a 1-year workmanship warranty for the solar panel. In addition, the manufacturer guarantees that the solar cells will produce at least 90% of nominal power in 10 years after purchase, and at least 80% of nominal power in 25 years after purchase.

The solar charge controller included in this kit is supplied with a detailed user manual containing a wiring diagram and installation/operation instructions. Please ensure that you read the full user manual before starting the installation.
