20W Reinforced semi-flexible solar panel with a durable ETFE coating

Introducing a highly durable, semi-flexible solar panel reinforced with anodized aluminum and a strong ETFE surface, made from monocrystalline solar cells. This high-efficiency 20W solar panel is perfect for permanent outdoor use, providing free electricity for charging 12V batteries to power various applications, such as motorhomes, caravans, campers, boats, solar lighting systems, off-grid and backup solar power systems. The panel can also provide a direct power supply for applications not sensitive to changes in input voltage/current (e.g. electric motors or pumps) and for various grid-tie applications.

This semi-flexible solar panel is constructed with a unique 7-layer design, incorporating an embedded sheet of anodized aluminum fully encapsulated within the panel. This additional reinforcement provides greater strength and resilience, making it one of the most robust semi-flexible solar panels available. In addition to the aluminum reinforcement, the panel's surface is made of strong ETFE material, which offers a longer service life compared to standard semi-flexible solar panels. As a result, these particular semi-flexible solar panels are extremely durable, less prone to cracking, delamination, and corrosion. The lightly textured coating of this panel creates an anti-reflective surface, allowing the panel to absorb a greater amount of light, thereby increasing efficiency. ETFE material is known for its durability and high-temperature resistance, making it suitable for various applications. Other benefits include the panel's semi-flexible design, making it ideal for slightly curved roofs and surfaces where bonding is preferred. The panel is incredibly light at only 1.1kg, which is great for all vehicles. It also offers high resistance to saltwater environments and is capable of withstanding walking on, making it perfect for boats and yachts.

The panel has a sealed, waterproof design, making it suitable for use in all weather conditions. It comes with 2 x 0.9m of cable specifically designed for solar panels to carry high currents with negligible power loss (2.5mm² cross-section). The cable is equipped with waterproof MC4 connectors, allowing for easy connectivity to your existing system, linking several panels together, or connecting to a 2.5mm extension cable. Warranty Information:

This product is covered by a 1-year workmanship warranty provided by Photonic Universe. In addition, the solar cells are guaranteed to produce at least 90% of nominal power in 10 years after purchase and at least 80% of nominal power in 25 years after purchase. The manufacturer of the solar cells provides this warranty.

Important Notes:

- This solar panel does not include a user manual, as it must be connected to further devices such as a solar charge controller or inverter, which are supplied with a manual.

- To charge a 12V battery, a solar charge controller/regulator is required. The panel cannot be connected directly to the battery.
