The Iconica 1000W 12V hybrid inverter is a versatile device that integrates the functions of a 1000W pure sine wave inverter, a 40A MPPT solar charge controller, and a 20A smart battery charger into a single portable unit. This inverter can accept input from solar panels, mains power/generator, and a battery, either from a single source or a combination of sources. It is designed to be an ideal solution for off-grid applications and features an Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) function, making it suitable for areas with unreliable or limited mains power. Additionally, it is suitable for both stationary and mobile off-grid installations, and can serve as a backup system for areas that experience frequent power cuts.

Key Functions:

1. The inverter can convert DC current into 230V AC mains electricity, making it suitable for running various household appliances such as TVs, laptops, lighting, and fans. It offers 1000VA of continuous power and has a peak power handling capability of up to 2000VA, making it capable of starting appliances with electric motors. This pure sine wave inverter provides greater efficiency and compatibility with a wider range of appliances compared to modified sine wave inverters.

2. The built-in 40A MPPT solar charge controller is highly efficient and regulates the input from the solar panels to the batteries or load. It includes safety functions to protect against overcharge, overheating, reverse current, and more, operating at up to 98% efficiency.

The inverter will automatically reconnect when safe conditions are detected, thanks to an inbuilt fan that maintains an optimal operational temperature.

Intelligent Cooling Design: The inverter uses predictive fan logic to prevent overheating of the components. This logic is based on performance and temperature, and 1 or 2 fans operate at a time with variable speeds.

Compatibility: This hybrid inverter is compatible with 12V flooded and sealed GEL/AGM lead-acid batteries. It includes predefined charging programs for these batteries and also offers a user-defined battery type with customizable settings for charging other lead-acid batteries.
